Street Racket Mission Thailand & Cambodia: Kick off!

After some troublesome days due to storm Pabuk the Street Racket team arrived in Bangkok just in time to officially kick off the mission.
The first ever Street Racket introduction in Thailand took place at the well known Wat Chin Wararam temple. 18 teachers of three different schools from the northern parts of Thailand, supported by the Stiftung Dres. Werner und Louise Greuter-Briner , attended the workshop. The group of teachers was very mixed, with different age groups and subjects present. While focusing on Street Racket as an Instrument to increase physical activity, the use of the concept for learning in movement (math, languages etc.) was met with great interest. The session was closed with a little fun tournament and a team foto outside the temple. The teachers, now familiar with Street Racket, will take the new know how to their schools and enjoy meaningful and sustainable activities with their classes. We are positive that the seed that was planted today will grow into a strong healthy tree and bring joy and better motorskills to many kids. We are happy and proud to have found such a great partner who supports public schools in Thailand - to expand the Street Racket impact around the globe and to add this concept to the sports agenda of this wonderful country.
