Street Racket @ rehab center by ICRC in Cambodia

Today the Street Racket team was invited to introduce the concept to staff and patients of the physical rehabilitation center supported by the international committee of the Red Cross in Cambodia. After explaining the many positive effects of Street Racket and the special ways to enjoy it with a physical handicap more than 40 participants engaged in many activities full of joy and laughter. It was amazing and humbling to see the high spirits throughout the entire morning - despite the personal tragedies all these wonderful people had to endure... Days like these make up for all the efforts and sleepless nights and empty pockets! It‘s a dream come true to be able to put our ideas into action in places like these and with people in need. We will visit another rehab center in a few days time further west and can take many positive learnings to the next session!
